waiting

"The Lord still waits for you to come to him so he can show you his love and compassion. For the Lord is a faithful God." Isaiah 30:18


This morning I was thinking about why I don't always feel God's presence. So often I go through my days and routines...and think that somehow God doesn't want to be near me, or speak to me. These are lies.


God is always close by. He is waiting for you to invite Him in. He longs to spend time with you!


"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." Matthew 11:28


"Come near to God and he will come near to you." James 4:8


"If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me." Jeremiah 29:13
